Thai citizens evacuated from Israel to Thailand

The Cabinet has proposed financial mechanisms to encourage Thai workers who refuse to return to Thailand from Israel.

As compensation, each Thai worker will receive 50,000 baht, and each of them will also be eligible for a preferential loan of 150,000 baht.

In this way, the government hopes to bring back as many of its citizens as possible who do not want to leave Israel due to financial difficulties.

As of October 31, 7,747 Thai workers have returned to Thailand. During the Hamas attack on Israel, 32 Thai citizens were killed, 19 were injured, and 22 remain in captivity.

In addition, 15 bodies of the deceased have been repatriated, and another 10 bodies will arrive in Thailand tomorrow.
