The number of casualties from the Hamas attack on Israel among Thai citizens has risen to 30.

The number of injured remains unchanged at 16 people, with 17 individuals taken hostage.
At least 8,000 Thai citizens have registered for evacuation, while 101 citizens have expressed a desire to stay in Israel. Approximately 400 people are being evacuated daily, and this number may increase to 600 in the near future.

During his official trip to Beijing, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin called on Thai workers who have not yet decided whether to return to their homeland to make a quick decision, as their safety is at risk.

The Prime Minister added that there have been some misunderstandings with the Israeli embassy, whose employees informed the Thai government that 99% of Thai workers in the red zone have been evacuated.

Earlier reports indicated that some Israeli employers had confiscated passports and were not allowing Thai workers to return to Thailand. Government members are conducting negotiations with the Israeli authorities to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
