Passenger and hand luggage weighing will be conducted directly at the boarding gate.

According to the airline's statement, this procedure complies with International Civil Aviation standards and helps the airline calculate the maximum takeoff weight for flight safety.

From October 16 to 20, some Air Asia flights at Don Mueang Airport will undergo passenger and baggage weighing.

Air Asia collaborates with the Civil Aviation Authority for data collection, ensuring the confidentiality of the information collected and its use solely for the intended purpose.

A similar rule is already in place for passengers on Korean Air, Air New Zealand, and Bangkok Airways flights.
