Several districts of Bangkok were flooded on Thursday evening after prolonged rainfall.

According to the city authorities, the highest amount of rainfall was recorded at 20:30 in the Bangna district, with 144.5 mm.

The floods caused severe traffic jams on several key roads, including Vibhavadi-Rangsit, Sukhumvit, Ngamwongwan, and Tiwanon.

The Meteorological Department is forecasting continuous rain with gusty winds and isolated heavy showers in the lower northeastern and lower central regions. Isolated showers and downpours are expected in Bangkok, the east, and the south.
