Super blue moon in Thailand

The National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) invites everyone interested to observe the astronomical phenomenon called the Blue Moon.

The Blue Moon will rise on the night of August 30th to 31st.
To witness the moonrise, it is recommended to look up at the sky immediately after the sunset.
Observation sites are free for visitors and will be open from 18:00 to 22:00 at the following locations:
 
Sirindhorn Astronomical Park, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai
 
Chaloem Phra Kiat 7 Cycle Jubilee, Nakhon Ratchasima
 
Chaloem Phra Kiat 7 Cycle Jubilee, Chachoengsao
 
Chaloem Phra Kiat 7 Cycle Jubilee, Songkhla
