Heavy rains have caused sudden floods in several northern provinces of Thailand.

As a result of these rains, several districts in Chiang Mai province have been flooded.

Doi Inthanon National Park has prohibited visitors from swimming in waterfalls and rivers within the park's area and has warned residents of nearby villages about possible overflow due to overflowing waterfalls.
