Police detain a Russian man in Pattaya after his girlfriend jumped out of the window.

The Provincial Court of Pattaya rejected the arrest warrant for a Russian citizen who is a suspect in the case of a Russian woman's death.

The incident occurred on the morning of August 13 in one of the condos in the Na Jomtien area.

Under unknown circumstances, a 32-year-old Russian citizen jumped from the window of her apartment on the 7th floor. The girl died before the arrival of paramedics.

Her boyfriend claimed that he was not involved in the suicide and was not in the room at the time of the girl's jump.

At that moment, the Russian citizen was under the influence of alcohol and was behaving quite aggressively. He refused to cooperate with the police, after which he was arrested for hooliganism.

During the review of the surveillance camera footage, it was revealed that the man was holding the girl's legs outside the apartment window. The police refrained from making preliminary conclusions about whether it was an attempt to save her or an act of murder.

According to the latest information provided by the police yesterday evening, no prohibited substances were found in the suspect's blood.

The man continues to deny his involvement in the girl's death. According to him, he was unable to stop the girl before she jumped. The scratches on the man's body, according to his words, were self-inflicted and were not caused by a conflict with his girlfriend.

He explained his refusal to cooperate with the police by being in a state of shock after the incident.

The arrest warrant for the man was rejected due to a lack of substantial evidence.

Currently, the man has been fined for public drunkenness. After his release, he will be under the supervision of immigration police while the investigation continues.
