It remains unclear whether the tourists had prior experience with cannabis and how much of the confection they consumed. Due to the tourists' condition, the rescue team decided to transport them to a hospital.

During transportation, the distressed tourists began to scream and bang on the ambulance's doors, refusing hospitalization. The rescue team subsequently dropped them off on the side of the road and reported the incident to the police.

This incident is not an isolated case in Pattaya. Just a few days earlier, an Israeli tourist caused a disturbance on Walking Street and committed theft at a store. He attributed his actions to smoking marijuana, which he used to relieve stress related to Hamas's attack on Israel.
