The Speaker of the House of Representatives has announced that the vote for the next prime minister may take place on either August 18th or 22nd

Speaker Wan Muhammad Nur Matha explained that the parliament is awaiting a decision from the Constitutional Court on August 16th regarding the reappointment of Pita Limjaroenrat as a prime ministerial candidate before confirming the official voting date.
