The prices for visiting the famous Tham Luang cave have sparked dissatisfaction among Thai and foreign tourists.

The approximately 2.5-hour tour for each round includes a demonstration of rescue operations and equipment used to save people from the cave.

Despite section 3 not being the exact location where the football team was trapped, the tour for foreigners costs 1,500 baht per person, and for Thais, it is 950 baht per person. This price does not include necessary equipment and insurance.

Section 3 of the Tham Luang cave, located about 800 meters from the entrance, was created as a rescue base for the 12 members of the "Wild Boars" football team and their coach.

Schoolboys, along with their coach, became trapped for 18 days after heavy rain in 2018 flooded the cave.
The rescue operation lasted 17 days and was successful thanks to assistance from around the world, involving over 100 world-class experts, spelunkers, rescuers, and doctors.
